At Encify, we’re looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help create high-performance, scalable, and visually appealing online stores using the Shopify platform. As a Shopify Developer, you’ll have the opportunity to work on diverse e-commerce projects, helping brands enhance their online presence and drive business growth.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and back-end developers to build customized Shopify stores that meet clients' needs, improve conversion rates, and provide a seamless shopping experience.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates that align with client requirements and provide an exceptional user experience.
  • Customize Shopify stores using Liquid (Shopify’s templating language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create unique e-commerce solutions.
  • Integrate third-party apps and APIs to extend functionality, including payment gateways, shipping solutions, and marketing tools.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and performance of Shopify stores across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Optimize e-commerce stores for SEO, page load speed, and smooth user experience.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve any technical issues to ensure that stores operate smoothly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and back-end developers, to deliver high-quality Shopify solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices to enhance development capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Shopify Development: Strong experience with the Shopify platform, including knowledge of Shopify Liquid, themes, and apps.
  • E-commerce Expertise: In-depth understanding of e-commerce best practices, conversion optimization, and user experience (UX) design.
  • Front-End Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks to create custom, responsive themes and templates.
  • API Integration: Knowledge of integrating third-party applications, payment gateways, shipping services, and other APIs with Shopify stores.
  • SEO & Performance Optimization: Expertise in optimizing Shopify stores for SEO, fast page load times, and a seamless shopping experience.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong debugging skills and the ability to quickly resolve any issues related to the Shopify platform or custom integrations.
  • Continuous Learning: A passion for keeping up with new Shopify updates, features, and the latest trends in e-commerce development.
